Did you know that tooth decay is the most common chronic disease in children and is also the first cause for school absence?
The best way to prevent tooth decay is to visit your dentist regularly. BadgerCare and Children’s Community Health Plan cover all children and adult’s regular dental services – including teeth cleanings, fluoride, sealants and fillings.
BadgerCare Plus fully covers regular dental services for members living in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Washington, and Waukesha counties. Oral health affects physical health and behavioral well-being. It can influence especially how children chew, taste food, grow, speak, look and socialize. While tooth decay and other dental health issues are preventable, many Milwaukee children do not have access to the oral health care they need.
